Living in a smaller apartment means every piece of furniture, including cat beds, has to earn its spot. This cushion works well for that because the low profile tucks under our side table without looking bulky or out of place. My cat uses it daily, mostly in the mornings when the light comes through that window, and it's held its shape well despite the constant use. The breathable filling was a bigger deal than I expected, our place gets warm in summer and she still uses this bed without seeming to overheat on it. Washing is straightforward too, I run it through with regular laundry and it dries back to its normal loft. Good product for anyone tight on space or budget.
